Florida Statute 83.56(3) requires a three-day notice before terminating a lease for non-payment. This notice must state the deadline for rent payment. Note that the three-day period excludes weekends, legal holidays, and the day the notice is served. Please enter the notice date below to calculate the deadline. (This calculator uses the legal holidays recognized by the Leon County Clerk; holidays in other counties may vary.)

Delivery Options
When serving a notice, you may deliver it by mail, by hand, or—if the tenant is absent—by leaving a copy at the residence. (Note: If you serve the notice by mail, add 5 days to the calculated deadline.)
